Georgina and Louise formed their flute and harp duo in 2003 having previously worked together as freelance musicians in the York area for a number of years. Performances have included the Savoy, the Café Royale plus many other individual and joint events throughout the uk

Louise studied the flute with Alan Lockwood at Huddersfield and then went on to York University to complete her studies with an MA in music performance.  She currently enjoys a busy playing and teaching career across the Yorkshire region.  Louise is the principal flautist with the City of York Guildhall orchestra and performs extensively in a freelance capacity with a wide range orchestras and chamber music groups. 

Georgina
Georgina's musical career includes performances for The Mayor of Westminster, members of the royal family, and many others besides.Other performances include: Solo recitals, chamber music and orchestral work for the Bournemouth Symphony, Liverpool Philharmonic, Northern Sinfonia and Opera North. Georgina also enjoys a busy teaching career for many students in the Yorkshire area, ages ranging from 9yrs to 70+yrs It's never too late!
